A Brief Look at Inline Hockey

Roller hockey is a sport that combines the fun of hockey with the speed of skating. Inline hockey is the first version that we will discuss. This game is held in a rectangular rink approximately two hundred feet but one hundred feet. When you look at an inline rink, it is set up similarly to an ice hockey rink with two goals and a center red line. Whoever has the most goals at the end of the game wins.
Inline skating is a great extreme sport. As with every extreme sport, there is a high level of danger involved. No skater is perfect, and even the very best fall down from time to time. As a basic precaution you should always wear protective gear when inline skating. On a skate park, falling onto the softer part of a ramp rather than a sharp angle is helpful.
Try not to slam down if you are falling. Always try to fall forward if you can. Falling backward exposes your back, your head, and your tailbone to serious injury. If falling backwards cannot be avoided, then try to land on your elbow pads and wrist guards as well as your buttocks. New skaters should sign up for some lessons if the want to learn the basics of inline skating.
