The hockey helmet is an irrefutable part of ice and roller hockey. It protects your head by hugging the bony protrusion at the back of your head. The helmet will efficiently protect you from head injuries if you choose the perfect size for your head.
Aside from protection, an equally important function of the helmet is also known to hockey players. And what would that be? The helmet is also a customizable piece of equipment in which players can show off their unique personas on the rink. After all, hockey is not just brute strength and speed. You can also show your artistic side in this sport.
Unfortunately, a good number of hockey helmets come in standard colors and designs. A dull appearance can definitely be seen when you buy one at the Sports Shop. You can change this dullness by just repainting it! In painting, you get to create your own design and pick out the colors you want. Go for brightcolors to set you away from the pack. Go for warm colors to convey intensity and passion. Make the logos of champion teams embedded on your helmet to give you that champion confidence. The possibilities are endless, you need only create your own design.

I am not totally sure whether I am watching a hockey video game, or an actual televised hockey game, every time I catch a glimpse of footage from PS3 and Xbox NHL 10. Just how great PS3 and Xbox NHL 10 looks, sounds and feels, it is frightening, really. PS3 and Xbox NHL 10 is in an entirely different league, even though we have seen some decent hockey video games throughout the years. PS3 and Xbox NHL 10 is just a superior gaming experience, even when compared to its excellent predecessor.
Maybe it’s because PS3 and Xbox NHL 10 has introduced, among other things, new ways to score. With players able to shoot from their knees and bat pucks out of the air, just for starters, the folks at EA Sports like to boast that these new ways are “spectacular.’ Clearly, PS3 and Xbox NHL 10 is making sure that getting the most for his video game dollar is you, the hardcore gamer. And you will see that you have not been shortchanged in the least, once you sit down and start taking part in PS3 and Xbox NHL 10 tournaments.

Thankfully, this not the case with PS3 and Xbox NHL 10, though hockey video games come and go. Of the video game world, a hockey video game has never so successfully captured the imagination. PS3 and Xbox NHL 10 is really the greatest hockey video game ever made, and both fans agree, and critics agree about that. As PS3 and Xbox NHL 10 has come up with a winning formula, it is hard to disagree with the fans’ and critics’ assessment. Listened to the fans, the creators at EA Sports have done, what fans like or dislike about the previous installment they have figured out, and went from there, and even the most hardened skeptic would give their approval to the changes that have been made. Post-Whistle Action, you now have, where players can now do activities such as finish checks, and pick fights after the referee has blown his whistle. In the previous installment, such a feature did not appear, so it is fantastic that EA Sports has listened carefully to the fans’ wishes to bring in some new elements. PS3 and Xbox NHL 10 has kept aspects that worked, at the same time. Do not fix it if it is not broken, you know what it is that they say. So once again, just like they did for NHL 09, returning are Gary Thorne and Bill Clement to provide commentary for PS3 and Xbox NHL 10. It is no wonder that PS3 and Xbox NHL 10 is taking the video game world by storm, with all of this working for them.

Did you know that it is a vital part of the hockey players uniform to wear an ice hockey helmet when playing, to protect the head. Most trustworthy manufacturers will provide customers with a chart so finding out what helmet is right for you is a pain free task. Having a tape measure to hand ensures that all measurements are worked out as accurately as possible. The helmet is so effective because it grips the head from the inside.
To allow for extra comfort the majority of new produced helmets come with adjustable straps which require no extra tools. Some older models require the loosening of screws but this is a relatively pain free process too.
The exterior of the helmet, commonly known as the shell is made from a strong chemical substance. This substance effectively disperses force and absorbs the impact of flying pucks, sticks or possible contact with the ice and therefore reducing the chances of concussion.
In August 1979, John Ziegler the National Hockey Leagues President announced that head wear was to be a compulsory addition to matches. The idea was to increase the safety of all players during matches. This rule did not apply to players who had opted opt in contracts dated before June 1979.

Quarterback Tony Romo had another solid game, and the Dallas Cowboys made short work of the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon in a 38-17 victory. Romo threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions, and receiver Miles Austin caught a touchdown pass for the third straight game. The Cowboys improved to 5-2 with the win, while the Seahawks dropped to 2-5.
The Cowboys also got on the winning side of the NFL pointspread ledger with the win and cover as -10 home favorites. Dallas is now 4-3 against the spread for the season, while Seattle fell to 2-5 versus the number. The 55 combined points scored went OVER the posted total of 46′. Dallas has gone OVER in 5 of 7 games this season and four in a row. Seattle eclipsed the total for only the third time this season.
Romo has made greater patience in the pocket a priority this season, and it’s paying dividends. Sunday’s game was his third straight without an interception and he’s stayed interception free in five games this season-more than he did all of last year. Romo couldn’t resist a joke at his own expense:

The Clemson Tigers used a touchdown pass on their first possession of overtime to upset the Miami Hurricanes 40-37 on Saturday night to cap a back and forth game. Miami kicked a field goal on their first possession of overtime to take the lead, but Clemson responded with a seldom used play on third and 11 to get the victory as quarterback Kyle Parker completed a 27 yard touchdown pass to Jacoby Ford. Clemson improved to 4-3 with the win while Miami slipped to 5-2.
College football betting devotees who backed Clemson as +4 road underdogs eventually cashed their tickets, but they definitely earned their money in a game that saw twelve lead changes and two ties. Clemson improved to 5-2 against the spread with the cover, while Miami dropped to 4-3 against the money.
After the game, Jacoby Ford explained the logic for his suggesting the surprise play in the huddle:
“We knew this game was going to come down to who made more plays. And we did.”
Miami has a history of winning when their offense is clicking-this loss was only the second in 115 games when the Hurricanes score 37 or more points dating back to’85.

The New York Jets and rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez found a sure fire cure to their recent struggles-a game against the lowly Oakland Raiders. Sanchez passed for–3 yards and a touchdown, plus added a rushing touchdown as New York thumped Oakland 38-0 in the largest regular season shutout win in franchise history. Oakland quarterback JaMarcus Russell continued to struggle, and he passed for just 61 yards with three interceptions before he was benched in favor of Bruce Gradowski.
NFL football betting enthusiasts who took the Jets as -6 road favorites had smooth sailing throughout the game for an easy pointspread cover. The Jets improved to 4-3 against the spread while the Raiders fell to 3-5 against the number. The 38 points scored went OVER the posted total of 34. Oakland failed to score a touchdown for the 15th game in the past four seasons.
It was such an effortless game that the only thing that Sanchez had to apologize for was surreptitiously eating a hot dog near the end of the contest:

Poker has come to be one of the very best games in the world, thus deserving an all-star event to specify the best player. The WSOP, or WSOP for short, has set up this tournament with every intention of granting one million dollars to the winner of the 2010 World Series Of Poker TOC; being held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in stunning Las Vegas, Nevada, during the 41st Annual World Series Of Poker.
At a press conference, HIE Vice President Ty Stewart expressed his joy of their ability to make a revamped poker game that could incorporate millions of fans around the world. He went on to explain that the viewpoints of several participants have helped the idea advance. He, as well as fans and participants, hope that the tournament will be here for good.
Only 27 competitors will play in the freeroll poker invitational, and seven of them will be abandoned after the public votes on their choice. Voting opened March 15, 2010 and continues until June 15, 2010 precisely at midnight. To qualify, each player must be a WSOP bracelet-holder. Any living bracelet-holder is eligible, and presently there are 521 participants with eligibility. With three positions already guaranteed because previous WSOP TOC winners receive guaranteed entry, the reigning World Series Of Poker champ for both America and Europe get seats at the table, as well. That suggests that this year Mike Sexton, Barry Shulman, Joe Cada, Mike Matusow, and Annie Duke make up five out of the 27 people for the event.
